Brioche knitting is a set of techniques involving using yarn overs knit together with a slipped stitch from the previous row. The resulting fabric is textured and warm. Tamara Evans will teach you two basic brioche techniques. The first technique is one color brioche knit flat, to knit a Fisherman's Rib stitch. The project that you can finish with this technique is a scarf. The second part of the workshop will focus on brioche in the round, which also includes learning brioche increase and decreases. The project is a headband knit the round. Basic knitting skills are a requirement for this class.
