Learn to hook a small piece picturing a palm tree that can be framed, with instructions from Debra Walland of rughookseaside.com. In January you will learn the fundamentals of rug hooking and begin the piece. You can take it home and work on it, and then return in February to complete it, mount it, and have any questions answered.

Cost is $50 for the class for members and $70 for nonmembers. You will need to bring a 12-14 inch quilter's hoop, Materials fee of $7 to be paid to Debra for a rug hooking tool .
