February Fiber Guild Meeting

  • Oatland Island Wildlife Center 711 Sandtown Road Savannah, GA, 31410 United States (map)

Lysbeth O’Nayer will talk about her micro-embroidery pieces. After the meeting, Deb Walland will follow up on the rug-making piece, as well as provide an open forum for questions/assistance from 1-2:30.

More about Lysbeth

She started out creating “big stuff” knitting but someone always went wrong like the 3' sleeves on her brothers sweater she was making for him.

After years working for a law firm, she developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and tiny Stitches came from this loss.  She will take about Silk Fibers, themes, miniatures and details along with many pieces to share and pass around.  She will bring a batten burg lace sampler to show.

She says bottom line is she likes needle work and prefers them to be transportable.
