Taste of … Silk Painting

You will learn the basics of dyeing silk, mixing colors and manipulating techniques to create texture and blending of dyes.  You will "practice" on a couple small pieces first before making your piece with the knowledge of the hows and whys.

MARCEE has a passion for silk, creating a one-of-a-kind item using luxurious silks and French Dyes for your wearing pleasure. She uses gutta and wax to enhance the designs and steam each one for maximum softness and color. Marcee is inspired by nature, Art, clothes and her own photography.
