Ebenezer Retreat Weekend!

Fiber Guild of the Savannahs

Retreat 2024

May 18-19

Come join us for a weekend of Fiber and Friends!  The New Ebenezer Retreat Center is located 30 miles northwest of Savannah on the banks of the Savannah River in Rincon, at 2980 Ebenezer Rd. The center is at the site of the original Salzburger Community which was settled in 1734.  We will meet at the Pavilion Saturday morning at 10:00 for our regular monthly meeting follow by three workshops. You can do all three! You can also join Guild friends for an overnight at one of the lovely cabins at the retreat center, spaces are limited. If you do not overnight, you can come back on Sunday for more fun with friends into the early afternoon. The Retreat Center is adjacent to the Georgia Salzburger Society Museum and the historic Jerusalem Lutheran Church, both of which you may visit and learn about, among other things, the Salzburgers’ cultivation of silk.
