Hand embroidery is such a rich and exciting fiber arts skill to learn and can be traced back to antiquity and cultures all over the world. Embroidery transforms plain fabric into textured art using needle and thread.

In this class, we will build on basic stitches and learn additional stitches and techniques. Please bring your embroidery hoops, embroidery needles, and a small pair of scissors. Fabric and embroidery thread will be provided. A limited number of embroidery hoops will be for sale in case you don’t have one. You will leave with a beautiful hand-stitched piece that you can keep as a sampler or frame as your own wall art.
