Bring your machine! You will learn the basics of maintaining and operating your sewing machine. Learn about oiling and maintenance. You will learn about choosing the correct thread, needles, winding a bobbin and much more. This is a great chance to dust off that machine and begin new projects.
This Taste of Class is the beginning in a series of classes utilizing a sewing machine. Watch for future class in quilting and sewing hand wovens and much more.
Those interested but without a machine are welcome to contact Janet (404-276-3694) for accommodations.
Student need to bring their sewing machine, instruction manual for their machine, presser feet attachments, medium needles size 80, several bobbins and oil. Please bring hand needles, thread and a pair of scissors.
Please bring your lunch and a drink.
