In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the essential skills every crocheter needs:

• How to hold your hook and yarn comfortably

• Making a slip knot and foundation chain

• Single and double crochet stitches

• How to read a simple pattern

• Basic finishing techniques

We’ll work step-by-step in a relaxed, supportive environment—no prior experience required. By the end of class, you’ll feel confident practicing on your own and ready to complete a simple project.

Supplies: 

Each student should bring the following supplies to class:

• Crochet hook F, G, or H 

• #4 worsted yarn, plain yarn, no fancy stuff for beginners.

• Intermediate stitchers can bring a project to work on 

• Lunch and/or snacks
