Sun Feb 13 - 1-4pm - Studio
$30 members/ $40 non-members
Doris has designed these lovely crochet flowers. You can add these flowers to your projects or use alone as pretty pins. You’ll need some novelty yarns with glitz or sparkle. Come and have fun, go home with a flower pinned to your lapel! You must be able to crochet the basic stitch without assistance, therefore, this workshop is not recommended for beginners.
Materials: Bring various yarns in several different colors, fancy, ribbon like, metallic (about 4 to 5 yards each), 5.0 or 5.5mm crochet hooks, needle and threat. Doris will bring an extra stash of novelty yarn ($1.00 each) you can pick from and the pins (free) to complete the project.
Growing up in Switzerland, DORIS was taught to knit, crochet and sew at an early age and it has been a hobby throughout her professional career. After retirement, creating with fibers and beads, be it craft or art, have become a reality. DORIS is a longtime member of the Kobo Gallery, Gallery 80 on Tybee as well as at the Jepson Center gift shop
