As in years past, the Georgia Salzburger Society is celebrating its Heritage Festival on Labor Day, September 1st from 10 AM until 3 pm. This year is the centennial of the celebration of the Society. Members of the Fiber Guild are invited to this annual celebration to demonstrate different fiber arts such as weaving, spinning, knitting, and crocheting, or whatever your area of expertise is. Members can bring finished fiber items for sale. There will be handmade items, baked goods and food to buy as well as demonstrations of historical events. If you participate in this Fiber Guild event, please arrive by 9:30 to set up. We will be indoors in the parsonage (the white building behind the Salzburger Museum). Parking is available. For information on the historical Ebenezer site and the history of the Salzburg’s, please visit https://govisitebenezer.com. The address is 2980 Ebenezer Rd, Rincon GA. GPS should guide you there. If you are joining us, please send us an email to info@fiberguildsav.com and put Salzburger in the title, please tell us what art or craft you are bringing. Please join us!
